Yesterday was launched a new improved server system build to offer a higher quality experience on the battlefield of Company of Heroes 2. Relic Entertainment believes that gamers will appreciate the Aftermath update, since it contains a map made by the community, new combat balancing and a more productive surrender mechanic.
The new servers can be described as a blend of Company of Heroes 2 and the online multiplayer matches; they will connect players to each other directly. Jeffery Simpson assured fans that the new “battle servers” will not delay an entire match if one computer is lagging, even in bigger combats.
He explained: “with the new system, players will be connected directly to a Battle Server, which will relay game information between players.” You will not have to worry about slowing down because “if one player has a poor connection, only their game will be affected.”
